A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 84

MY CHILD,   

It is possible to come short of My plans and purpose for you, or to finish the course and receive the prize. The secret of finishing and winning, is to get into My rest. You may choose My rest where all things work in harmony according to My plans and purpose. My rest for you is in your heart. If you have rest there, you have rest everywhere. If you do not have rest there, you do not have rest anywhere.

The Lord Jesus was in a world of constant conflict without, but perfect rest within. He triumphantly said, "It is finished." His work was finished.

Paul could say, "It is finished. I have done what I was supposed to do." You can do the same but you must live in My rest. To do that, you must get in, stay in, and not be getting out. My rest is the same as sitting at My right hand, just a different way of describing it. Do not come short, or give up till you are at rest. When you are, all My purpose will be fulfilled in you.

My Promises

Isaiah 43:2 - "When you go through the sea, I am with you. When you go through rivers, they will not sweep you away. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not harm you."

2 Corinthians 1:3 - "Praise me, your Father in Heaven! I am your Father who is compassionate and the God who gives comfort."

Vs. 4 - "I will comfort you whenever you suffer. That is why whenever other people suffer, you are able to comfort them by using the same comfort I have given you."
