A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 73

MY CHILD,   

My Son speaks words that are life. Your spirit needs these words to live, even as your body needs food to live. Why would you sit at other places and eat other words? If you will sit at his right hand, He will feed you all the words you need for life and godliness. Give Him that opportunity.

My way is always victory in battle, not victory from battle. The more you fulfill My purpose, the more intense the battle will be. You may experience not only severe, but prolonged attack.

Let any attack drive you to sit at My right hand. There you will find relief in victory. Your heart’s desire to be holy and wholly mine causes Me to allow the attacks. The enemy attacks every vulnerable and weak spot, every part still marked by flesh. Use his attack to bring you into the shadow of My protecting hand, to the place of rest and victory.

Seated at My right hand the enemy can only taunt and tempt, he cannot touch. His temptations and taunting are to get you from this place, and positions of responsibility, and privilege.

He uses fear to move you to defend what you are afraid of losing. At My right hand, I will pour out My love upon you, and you will come to the place where you are able to sit in the greatest storm without fear, because you are in My love.

The enemy attacks in many forms, each ideally suited to your temperament. You, therefore, can be faced with many enemies, striking at you from many sides. Identify these and you can soon defeat them.

These enemies that prey upon you are your areas of weakness, your deepest vulnerabilities. But that is your secret of victory -- My strength is made perfect in your weakness.

Instead of liabilities they can become assets. Begin to view them from My perspective.

See them in defeat,
in submission,
in actual service to you.

See yourself as the overcomer,
as the victor,
as the reigning sovereign.

If you truly saw yourself like this, what would you do? Why, of course, you would rejoice -- so rejoice.

The faith that praises in darkness, and seeming setbacks, is real faith. Such a faith can only be had and maintained by sitting at My right hand. So, sit and among other things, anticipate your victory.
