A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 60

MY CHILD,   

Jesus was able to represent Me as I am, because My life was his life. He acted as an expression of My life. He was repeatedly tempted to act contrary to My life. He was enticed with many false promises and encouraged to compromise to those closest to Him who did not understand.

The prince of this world holds men captive to do his will. He has created a world hostile to the expression of My life. The outer environment of the world is hostile to divine life, and it was only by the inner environment of living in My presence, Jesus was able to express My life.

My life gives you the capacity to express My nature in this world, so your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers will know Me as I am. 

Jesus gives you the same privileges, equipment, and power I gave Him. He gives you Himself in your inner life so you can continually live in My presence, and receive from Me all the grace and truth to express My life in your world. 

You are equipped to represent Me in the world where you live. Appropriate what I have given you, and use it for My glory.

My Promises

Romans 4:20,21 - "Abraham didn't doubt my promise out of a lack of faith. Instead, giving honor to me {for the promise}, he became strong because of faith, and was absolutely confident that I would do what I promised."

James 1:5 - "If you need wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask me, and I will give it to you. I am generous to everyone and don't find fault with them."

John 10: 27,28 - "My sheep respond to my voice, and I know who they are. They follow me, and I give them eternal life. They will never be lost, and no one will tear them away from me."
