A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 59

MY CHILD,   

I have spoken in My Son, and continue to speak through Holy Spirit about My true nature. To properly respond to Me, you must know Me in truth. You must know what I am really like; not what I am often pictured to be.

I am a spiritual being. No person has seen Me, but I have expressed My nature in My Son, Jesus. I have made Myself known in the flesh, and action, and in words.

Look at Him. Read the inspired record of His life on Earth, and you will see the fleshing out of My life so you can know Me.

In his life, you see My omniscience, because Jesus knew what people were thinking before they spoke. In My omniscient nature, I see your thoughts, before they are uttered.

You see My Mercy, as My Son acted towards the needy, the undeserving, the unfortunate, the weak. Thus you understand when I say I am Merciful.

My Son was the exact representation of My nature. Listen to Him, and you will know Me, and you can fellowship with Me.

His teachings were the practical expression of what I am. His lifestyle portrayed My value system, My desires, My will. He was the perfect balance of the paradoxical (that's how it seems to you) parts of My nature. He demonstrated how mercy and justice, grace and truth, righteousness and peace are all a part of Me. In Him, you see how I respond to evil and good.

Do you remember when they brought the woman taken in adultery? Do you remember how they wanted to stone her? Do you remember his response? His response was a picture of what I am like. I do not like people judging others, so Jesus told them of their own sin. I am full of mercy, and Jesus in My behalf forgave her. I do not like sin, thus Jesus commanded her to sin no more.

Jesus is a perfect portrayal of Me. In union with Him, walking in and by His Spirit, you will discover Me.

Genesis 8:22 - "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."

Luke 17:6 - "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Pull yourself up by the roots, and plant yourself in the sea!' and it would obey you."
