A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 45

MY CHILD,   

I love you. Because you are My child, I discipline and develop you so you will be all you have the capacity to be. I am committed to train, develop, and cause you to mature. I will develop the gifts I have given you, and make you like Myself, holy.

Holiness is not some mystical other-worldliness like religious people think. Holiness is My character and its manifestations in all of life. It is honesty and truth; it is faithfulness and justice; it is kindness and love. Holiness is My character manifested in life and relationships.

I want you to walk through this world acting and reacting as I would. The moral, social, and spiritual climate of the world is not conducive to this. Therefore, My children need to be strong and disciplined if they are going to live contrary to the general trends of the world.

You must become professional givers and forgivers. The world's atmosphere and the enemies’ teaching tells you to be a getter and a revenger. If you are going to act like Me, I must discipline you to teach you how to walk in holiness.
