A Word from your Father in Heaven
Day 39

MY CHILD,

In My order and plan, there is progression towards a definite end. It began in a garden with a person, then two people, and ends in a city with a person, then a multitude.

It is My plan, purpose, and desire to have people, loving Me, and each other, gathered together. They will live in a place of peace, protection, provision, permanence and purity, a place that is My home.

This is what all the people of faith were really after. Like Abraham, they desired a better country, a heavenly one, and I promised it to them. The promise I gave all these people was for the future, not for the present. The promises for the present were incidental to the promises having to do with the  indestructible, the eternal, the holy, the complete.

I plan for the welfare of My entire family. In your family, one generation makes sacrifices for the welfare of the next. Just as you sacrifice for your children, they sacrifice for theirs. So then, these people of faith were acting and doing not just for themselves, but for My entire family, people like you.

Suffering in the right way, for others, is not to be shunned, but to be embraced as part of My way to  accomplish My plan. The people of old, My heroes of faith, saw this and were willing to pay the price of foregoing immediate gratification for their eternal welfare.

They did not receive all I had promised, just the dividends, but they will, and so will you. Do not set your hopes only on the present, but on the eternal, the fulfillment of all My promises, for you and My entire family.

I love you,
Your Father who awaits you

My Promises

Hebrews 13:5 - "Do not love money. Be happy with what you have because I have said that I will never leave you or abandon you."

Timothy 6:7-10 - "You didn't bring anything into the world and you cannot take anything out of it. As long as you have food and clothes, you should be satisfied. But people who want to get rich keep falling into temptation. They are trapped by many harmful desires which drown them in destruction and ruin. Certainly, the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some people who have set their hearts on getting rich have wandered away from me and have caused themselves a lot of grief."
