A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 38

MY CHILD,   

Have you ever wondered about the sudden change in the results of those who had faith in Me?

From those who experienced victory in the world performing great acts and great deeds, there is a sudden switch to those who suffered greatly, experiencing great difficulties and sufferings and even death. Yet they, too, were people of great faith.

You wonder at the difference in the results of faith. How could it be that people who trusted Me were allowed to go through all of this, and then be called heroes of faith?

Simple. In faith they took My way, believing it to be the best way when measured in terms of My glory and eternity. I led My own Son down a path of increasing sufferings, misunderstanding, rejection, to death. Through his sufferings, I redeemed you, and many others. This was My best for them, My best for My kingdom, and My best for you. In eternity, you will see the full picture, and understand the wisdom, and perfection of My way.

The way of faith is always the way of personal choice, not force. All gained My approval through faith. Do you want My approval above all else? The men and women listed in Hebrews, wanted My approval above all else, and received it, because of what they did.

My word to each one was different. It was not their action that pleased Me, but the reason for their action. They acted out of their faith, and their lifestyle reflected this.

I gave them promises not for this world and the present, but for My world and eternity. Being eternal, I major on the eternal, not the temporary or the transient. My people are those who walk out their faith at a great cost because of My great promises made to them.

If you insist on being earthly minded, demanding total fulfillment now, you will not be able to walk with Me by faith. But if you have the eternal outlook, and are willing to trust Me, then you can be sure you will receive the promise I have made to you. The rewards of eternity can never be taken away.

My Promises

Isaiah 41:10 - "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

John 14: 27 - " I'm giving you my peace. I don't give you the kind of peace that the world gives. So don't be troubled and do not be afraid."

Psalm 100:5 - "I am good and my love endures forever; my faithfulness continues through all generations."
