A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 36

MY CHILD,   

Why did I mention a prostitute in the list of heroes of faith? A woman whose lifestyle was against everything I stood for, a woman whose actions would destroy other people's families, and the men who used her?

I did this to show My mercy. I long to forgive anybody, to restore, to make whole, no matter how far into sin one has gone. I desire to impart My grace, My love to anyone who will receive it by faith.

This woman had faith according to the limit of her understanding, and this is all I ask. She believed the God of the spies was the true God, and acted on her belief.

This is all that is necessary for Me to receive you, and begin to act on your behalf. The first step is acting in response to what you know about Me. When this is done, I gladly reveal more of Myself, so you may trust Me more. And remember, and it will be unto you according to your faith.

By faith, Rahab welcomed the spies. By faith in Me, what will you do today?
