A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 33

MY CHILD,   

Moses was mighty in word and deed, educated in all the wisdom of Egypt; but the wisdom of Egypt would not work with Me and in My plans. Moses learned this lesson the hard way, so did most of My children.

If you want to see My strength at work, you must be willing to work My way. When you work My way, My strength and power works for you. Then you see My accomplishment.

My way is the way of death, My way is the way of a poured out life. My way is the way of the slain lamb, rather than the way of the fighting lion.

Look at the victory Jesus won by being a lamb slain. He refused to be a lion. He could have been. Look at the power He had. Remember how the disciples wanted Him to call down fire, and how He refused. Christians, even in their imperfections, are evidence of the Lamb slain, rather than the lion loosed.

Moses tried the lion-loosed method, and lost. The second time, He let Me be his strength, and My way was the lamb-slain method, the Passover. Because He took My way, I became his strength.

Only Faith tries the lamb-slain method. Faith in Me says, I will take God's way, and do things as He ordained, then He will come through.

Trust Me, and we’ll preach and teach the lion-slain method. The secret of victory is a life laid down, blood poured out.

Flesh and blood is My way. Not truth preached and written, but truth incarnated in your life.

I chose to communicate with man in the flesh so Jesus was the incarnation, My ordained sacrifice. The appropriation of his sprinkled blood, releases My judgment on the oppressor, and stays My judgment on the oppressed. By faith Moses followed Me, obeyed Me, and lived to be the deliverer, destroying the bondage of fear, and the oppressor.

The sprinkling of Jesus' blood on you gives life, and breaks the power of the enemy. The sacrifice has been accomplished but the appropriation is your choice.

Blood shed, and life laid down in behalf of others, is My way. He that saves his life shall lose it, and He that loses his life shall save it.

The lamb slain rather than the lion loosed.

My Promises

Hebrews 3:1 - "My child, you are a holy partner in a heavenly calling. So look carefully at Jesus, the apostle and chief priest about whom you make your declaration of faith."

Vs. 2 - "Jesus is faithful to me, the one who appointed him, in the same way that Moses was faithful when he served in my house."

Vs. 3 - "Jesus deserves more praise than Moses in the same way that the builder of a house is praised more than the house."

Vs. 4 - "After all, every house has a builder, but I am the builder of everything."

Vs. 5 - "Moses was a faithful servant in my household. He told {the people} what I would say in the future."

Vs. 6 - "But Christ is my faithful son in charge of my household. You are my household if you continue to have courage and to be proud of the confidence you have."
