A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 31

MY CHILD,   

Who would choose to endure when they can choose to enjoy? Only those willing to forgo immediate gratification for lasting, long-term joy, and results.

The enemy has two powerful, attractive words He uses over and over again. ENJOY NOW. He puts the emphasis on both these words because man likes immediate gratification.

I want you to enjoy life, to enjoy things, but I have a higher goal for you. I desire for you, deep lasting enjoyment that does not come easily or quickly. However, if you wait, and endure, it does come permanently and richly.

Enduring is easier if you are able to understand why you are enduring. So I will always give you some of the reasons. Not all. When you follow Me, what you get will always exceed what you could ask, think, or expect.

My way is the way of development. Development brings with it a greater capacity for all things. There is no instant development or maturity. It takes time. And during that time you must trust Me for a rich, and better harvest than you could ever have imagined.

It is not easy to endure, when those around you are enjoying life, while you suffer waiting for the fulfillment of My promises. Their way sounds easier, and better, and it is -- but just for a little while. It will never last, not even in this time, and certainly not in eternity. Don't you think the king of Egypt would give anything to change places with Moses today?

Moses saw by faith, what was coming, and denied his position. He chose to endure rather than enjoy.

What will you choose? Do not give up, My child. Trust Me, and endure what you must to develop, so I can bless you more fully.

My Promises

Psalm 91:14 - "Because you love me, I will rescue you. I will protect you because you know my name."

Vs. 15 - "When you call to me, I will answer you. I will be with you when you are in trouble. I will save you and honor you."

Vs. 16 - "I will satisfy you with a long life. I will show you how I will save you."

Psalm 147:3 - "I am the healer of the brokenhearted. I am the one who bandages their wounds."
