A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 27

MY CHILD,   

The secret of Abraham's faith was his focus on Me. He knew Me so well, He was confident not only of My promises, but My ability to keep My promises. He knew even if it took raising the dead, I could do it.

Abraham figured Me into every equation of life. He saw it did not matter how many negatives there were, if I had promised, I could and would offset all the negatives. Then the end result would be positive and right.

You do not know Me well enough to trust Me. True trust is built in a continuing relationship between people.

Abraham walked with Me for a long time, through many testings and situations. He knew I could, would, and was able to keep all the promises I had made. He understood his part in our relationship was to "trust and obey."

Walk with Me. Try Me and see if I am God. Nothing is too hard for Me. How do you prove Me? Simply listen, obey, trust, and I will do even that which seems impossible to you.

Like Abraham, consider that I'm able for I RULE.

My Promises

Romans 4:20,21 - "Abraham didn't doubt my promise out of a lack of faith. Instead, giving honor to me {for the promise}, he became strong because of faith, and was absolutely confident that I would do what I promised."

James 1:5 - "If you need wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask me, and I will give it to you. I am generous to everyone and don't find fault with them."

John 10: 27,28 - "My sheep respond to my voice, and I know who they are. They follow me, and I give them eternal life. They will never be lost, and no one will tear them away from me."
