A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 23

MY CHILD,   

The longing of every human heart is for secure, meaningful, harmonious, and reciprocal relationships. "A city" represents a place where people gather together with needs, and desires, seeking security in others. There is nothing wrong with this. This is the way I made you.

Scripture starts in a garden with a river in it, and end with the city, with a river in it. A city where all the above is symbolic and true.

Your cities deteriorate in every way. People flee to the suburbs seeking what the cities do not give them. Why this failure? Because I am not the designer and builder of the cities. From the building of Babel until now, cities have been designed and built by man. The failure of cities is not the failure of bricks and mortar, but the failure of the people to be the people of God.

I have prepared a city for you. Plan and work towards this city where all the longings of hearts will be fulfilled. Let Me build this heavenly city in your heart. If your heart is not mine, you would not enjoy My city. Let Me build your heart according to My design.

My Promises

 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14 - "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if you believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will He bring with Him."

John 14:1 - "Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in Me."

Vs.2 - "In My house are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am preparing a place for you."

Vs. 3 - "And if I am preparing a place for you, Jesus will come back and bring you to be with me so that you can be where I am."
