A Word from your Father in Heaven
Day 20

My Child,,

By faith, Abraham, when he was called… obeyed… and went out not knowing where He was going.

From the world's point of view, this was folly. Abraham received the same type of conviction that anybody else will who walks by faith. Others did not understand, but Abraham did. He knew and trusted Me. He knew I would be fair and faithful, good and gracious. He saw and heard Me when nobody else did, and He chose to "trust and obey."

I promised Abraham an inheritance. My covenant and will for Him, for you, is always with your best in mind. This is one of the things it means for Me to love you.

If you want what I have to offer, then you have to be willing to let go of what you have, and what the world has to offer. Letting go is hard, but the person who trusts Me will learn I keep My promises. Then, fear and doubt no longer rule.

Abraham might not have known exactly where He was going, but He did know Me. If you know Me, you will know in your heart I will not force you or fail you.

I love you,
Your Father who awaits you

My Promises

Psalm 118:8 - "It is better to depend on me than to trust mortals."

2 Corinthians 12:9 - "My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak. So you can rejoice even more about your weaknesses in order that my power will live in you."

Psalm 37:4 - "Be happy with me, your Father in Heaven and I will give you the desires of your heart."
