A Word from your Father in Heaven 
Day 19

MY CHILD,   

Abraham pleased Me, because He consistently exercised faith in Me. Faith pleases Me, because it believes Me, trusts Me, listens to Me, obeys Me. You like people to trust you. You get this straight from Me, because I made you in My likeness.

There is a general faith in Me, that trusts Me as a person. This faith is developed as you get to know Me. Even as you get to know people, and trust them in a greater way, so it is with Me. Get to know Me.

Read the Scriptures.

Listen to My spirit.

Obey Me, and you will get to know Me, and love Me. Then faith in Me will be easy.

This is a specific faith in Me, that accepts what I say in specific areas. Abraham, when He was called, obeyed. Abraham did not move until He was called, and then He obeyed Me. This obedience is faith at work. But remember, this was not Abraham's first encounter with Me. He had searched for Me, and I let Him find Me. He and I had intimate acquaintance, prior to the call. Thus when He was called, He obeyed.

Know Me. That is your privilege and your responsibility.

My Promises

Phillipians 4:6 - "Never worry about anything. But in every situation let me know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks."

Vs. 7 - Then my peace, which goes beyond anything you can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus my Son."

Psalm 119:76 - "Let my mercy comfort you as I have promised."

Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest."
