A WORD FROM YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN 
DAY 13

MY CHILD,   

There are many things faith is NOT.

Many things called faith are not faith.

Many things called faith are wishful thinking.

Of course, some of these things come true, but they come true not because of faith. They come true, because they were going to anyhow.

What then is faith?

Faith is assurance, absolute assurance, unwavering assurance of things hoped for.

Faith is conviction, certain conviction, continuing conviction of things not seen.

What makes "faith" faith?

What makes it more than positive thinking? 

What makes it more than wishful thinking?

What makes it more than religious dice rolling?

Only one thing makes faith. One thing and one thing alone.

MY WORD.

My word makes faith absolute assurance,
certain conviction.

The one who knows Me, as a covenant keeping God,
as a faithful and forgiving Father,
is the one who hears Me, and knows Me,
because My word is revelation.

Knowing Me
is the basis of faith
and is faith.

Hear me -- but before and as you do -- know Me.

My Promises

Hebrews 11:1 - "Faith assures you of things you expect and convinces you of the existence of things you cannot see."

James 1:6 - "When you ask for something, don't have any doubts. A person who has doubts is like a wave that is blown by the wind and tossed by the sea."

Psalm 31:24 - "Be strong, all who wait with hope for the Lord,"

Matthew 17:20 - "I can guarantee this truth: If your faith is the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
