A WORD FROM YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN 
DAY 10

MY CHILD,   

As you read My scriptures, let My spirit interpret and apply them for you. They will become alive. For example, in Hebrews 10:34, it says "You showed sympathy to prisoners." This scripture is hardly applicable in your present society and situation, but let Me apply it for you.

How many prisoners do you know? Look around you. The prisoners I see are not in jail. They are a different type of prisoner.

Some are prisoners of circumstances beyond their control. Some with financial circumstances, have no room to move about. They are confined by very limited finances.

Some are prisoners because of foolishness, but others are there because other people have put them there. For instance, the woman whose husband walked off and left her with children to support.

Some have physical circumstances that make them prisoners. The sick, the aged suffer as they sit alone. They are restricted to a great degree.

I could go on and on. If you would see with My eyes, and listen with My ears, you would see prisoners all around you, and you would hear their cries for help. Your preoccupation with self keeps you from helping.

But the next question is, are you willing to show sympathy to them? Are you willing to suffer with them, and then to relieve their suffering? Are you willing to give up some of your freedom, and spend time with them? Are you willing to do without some things, so they may be more comfortable?

There is no way to help the suffering, without suffering. There is no way to show real compassion, and sympathy without suffering.

Not all prisoners are set free from their prisons, even if they trust Me, but all of My prisoners can have Me minister to them.

One of the ways I do this is through people like you. Are you willing to be My minister to people in jail? Are you willing to come and minister to Me in jail? Because when you minister to these -- you minister to Me.
